The hotel offers massive rooms without any view, feeling like an underground bunker. Although a little pricey, the food service was subpar and in need of maintenance and refresh. Broken cupboard doors, powerpoints, and bathroom door were noticeable downsides.
The hotel is located in a very quiet and picturesque neighborhood, just a block away from either Santa Monica Blvd or Sunset Blvd. The rooms were very cute and had a separate living room area with a big screen TV, which was perfect for us and much appreciated. However, the low positioning of the room presented some challenges. The service was very friendly and accommodating, although there were incidents like mistakenly disturbing us early in the morning without prior notice.
